Coconuts and Crawfish

COCONUTS AND CRAWFISH is a collection of 11 stories that takes readers from villages in southeast Asia to the bayous of southwest Louisiana. The first five stories deal with female Asian characters: how they are treated by other Asians and by Americans. The last seven stories deal with family and marital relationships in Cajun families from a divorced father with a crippled hand to a profane husband who wants his family to join the Mormon Church to save his marriage.
